We are sure that it will not really shock you to hear that Tesla Motors officials low-balled the demand for their new model. But, by how much do you think they missed? Elon Musk shared on his Twitter page that they expected 1/4 to 1/2 of the orders that really happened! The Model 3 Tesla demand was much higher!
The officials expected to see 20 to 30 people queuing in front of the stores. Instead, hundreds of people waited in front of the stores which confirms the high Tesla demand! Tesla Motors are not disappointed by this, of course. But, will they manage to produce enough vehicles in time.
