Now, we know these ships are designed to handle choppy waters such as this, and it does so without any problems. However, we cannot begin to imagine the feeling to be aboard on a vessel like this while it plunges its nose into the water. It must be hellishly terrifying!
The spectators that are aboard the aircraft carrier that`s cruising alongside, are enjoying the spectacle as the neighboring vessel plows through the immense waves. With each nosedive it draws a huge cheer from the spectators. It`s really a sight to bask upon. The USS Dewey is actually an Arleigh Burke-class missile destroyed which is a part of the US Navy.
This is the third military ship named after the renowned Admiral – George Dewey which is known as a hero of the legendary battle that occurred on Manila Bay that was a part of the Spanish-American War. In 2013, the USS Dewey was fitted with a LaWS (Laser Weapon System.)
