If you have never heard of RIAT (Royal International Air Tattoo) Show, it is by far the largest military air show in the World. It is usually held in England somewhere in July, mostly the third week in it. However, the spectating crowd is huge every year, marking down 150 to 160K viewers! They are all there for one reason, to see some beasty military aircrafts, such as the Mikoyan MiG 29! That is exactly the jet that we would like to share with you in the footage below. The Mikoyan MiG 29 pilot shows incredible skills from taking off to air maneuvers! This particular MiG 29 is from the Air Force of Poland.
However, the primary users of the Mikoyan MiG 29 were the Soviet Union, followed by Russia, of course. The highest speed this MiG 29 can deliver is Mach 2,25. Also, at low altitude for example, it maxes out 1,25 Mach which is impressive! This Mikoyan was built in the USSR and sent to Poland in 1989. It is lucky for us that these jets are still in use as we are going to be able to see them at many shows such as the Royal International Air Tattoo!
