He has been using it ever since. Basically, it`s just making a series of cursive E`s, U`s or small loops depending on what you want to weld. Overlapping into the puddle further enlarge the weld deposit. Not overlapping at all expands the travel speed and retains the arc on the fore of the puddle. This mig welding process works for all types of welds: horizontal, downhill, overhead, flat etc. It`s really one awesome mig welding technique because it gives you a decent ripple pattern because of its practicality.



As we said it is very methodical. This guy also gives a very nice tip on how to increase your travel speed. Don`t overlap into the puddle and pause slightly at the top. Also make a series of U`s not overlapping into the puddle at all and you could actually pick up your travel speed by about 50 percent!
