Michelle Rodriguez leaves Fast & Furious franchise over its representation of women. As you may know her character Letty in the Fate of the Furious was in the main focus, now it seems that Michelle is not satisfied how the Fast and Furious series represented the fairer sex. Maybe this looks bit outlandish to you knowing how much of the last movie installment was on the character of Letty, but I’m sure you will agree that not a big amount of screen time was given to F&F female actors.
As you know the character of Cipher was added to the series, played by the amazing and gorgeous movie star Charlize Theron, but the screen time the most prominent roles was again given to Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), but also to Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and Decker (Jason Statham). Letty and Cipher spent very little time on the screen in the last installment of Fast and Furious, so we think that’s the main reason why she considered the possibility to walk away from the famous series if nothing’s change in the near future.
