Since the G Class went into production back in `79, the Austrian company called “Magna Steyrn” is responsible for the SUV and the military components that accompany the armored model! The “normal” Mercedes Benz G Class looks just like any other Mercedes Benz G Class with the exception of surviving bombs and fire shots!
The G Class LAPV has even higher clearance since it has portal axles that are moved higher than the center wheels! In addition, the hub mounted gears are here to support the raise of the axles which gives the car a great boost regarding off-road performance!
