Those amongst you with a bigger knowledge of the European sports cars` history, and who are following the race models of the famous and legendary European brands, may think that the Lamborghini cannot be found in the company of the other companies with a rich racing history. Most of them, its Italian competitors, like the legendary Ferrari, or the awesome and very successful Alfa Romeo, as well as Maserati. But do not make a mistake to start to think that the Lamborghini is not familiar with the race track. Thus, today we are going to give you a chance `to meet` with their latest member and trump in the race domination, the awesome and extremely fast and innovative Lamborghini Huracan GT3 model.
This awesome sports car has already felt the smell of the track in the European competition, in this year`s Blancpain Endurance series. And compared with some previous Lambo`s race models like the Lamborghini Gallardo GT3, when its designers and constructors decided to use some previous experiences from their collaboration with other brands and firms, the new Huracan GT3 model is completely in-house made. They have made some changes in the design (with a little help of the Dallara experts) in order to improve the car`s aerodynamics, but everything else is their own design and work.
Under the hood of this awesome Lamborghini race model, there is the very same 5.2 liter V10 engine, using an automatic transmission and six-speed sequential gearbox. There is a significant weight loss, so the GTR 3 model is about 400 lbs. lighter than the standard Lamborghini Huracán model, and it is as fast as hell.
