You know well that we always love to get you acquainted with new car-people from different parts of the world, who are sharing the same passion for great cars and many activities related to them, like racing, drifting, pulling all kinds of stunts, etcetera. It is always a pleasant experience when one gets to know something about a guy on the other side of the planet, with whom he feels like has a lot to share and finds many things in common. Today we are going to introduce you with Fredrik Sorlie from Norway, a drift driver who is very passionate about sideways driving, and who likes to experience new things, new tracks, just as any other drift-driving aficionado, anywhere in the world. His favorite weapon of choice is this old Toyota Cressida RX30 2JZ-Ge that you are going to see him driving in the video, on one of the most famous tracks in the world, the Nürburgring in Germany.
One of the things that can be noticed about Fredi from the very first look at him, is that Toyota he is driving. We have got to admit that we do not get to see a lot of those, especially here in the US (neither in Europe actually). He got it a couple of years ago from a widowed woman, property of her late husband who had bought it brand new in 1977, and used it all of his life carefully, so the car was in pretty solid condition. After a few modifications (the idea was to keep it simple, and change only the things that would make it a real drift car, like the 2JZ motor from Supra), and with a help from the fellows at the Underground Garage, they sure managed to come up with a fine drifting machine that can do a lot of damage on the track and give Fredi an ultimate pleasure.
