Every Charger fan knows well that the biggest and shiniest star of the 2015 Dodge Charger model is the brutally powerful 707 HP Hellcat, but still, the Charger lineup is very colorful and there are also other very interesting packages to satisfy everyone`s taste and appetite. Today we are going to show you a video clip from last year`s LA Auto Show, with the 6.4 liter V8 powered RT Scat Pack variant, which is one out of the three new options in the 2015 model.
As you well see it very good in this video, there are some changes that are introduced in the new Charger, inside and outside, sort of a revision of the existing model. From the mechanical point of view, there is the new adjustable electric power steering, and the Chrysler`s TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission that comes as standard for all models.
With a $7000 plus on the base R/T version, the Scat Pack comes with its Bilstein suspension, 4-piston Brembo brakes and the 6.4 liter V8 engine that produces 485 HP, which actually comes as the last year`s SRT variant, only for a lot better price. According to many, the R/T Scat Pack is the best innovation for the price in the new lineup.
