Madness In South Africa! MIKE DRIFTS BADBULL AROUND THE FRANSCHHOEK PASS & Conquers The Cape!

Hello my dear fellow drift lovers! I would give myself the liberty to say that the video that we have prepared for you today, has to be one of the best, and most attractive, short films about drifting! We have seen and shared with you numerous and various drift clips, that are featuring some of the biggest names in the world of drift-driving. I`m talking about guys like Ken Block, Vaughn Gittin Jr., Daigo Saito, and many others. And practically all of them had made, or have been a part of some insanely cool drift video, or a short film. But the following clip that features the New Zealand`s drifting superstar, Mad Mike Whiddett, and his Badbul, has to be among the very, very best!

Before we leave you to watch this utterly suspenseful, thrilling, and filled with adrenaline rush video (or rather, short film), we`ll just give you a very short intro.

It`s taking place in South Africa, on the road near Cape Town, full with narrow passages, corners and twists, which seemed as if it was purposely created for drifting. It`s named Franschhoek Pass, and besides being utterly attractive for drift-driving action, at the same time, it`s also quite dangerous. That`s why the speed limit of this 9+ mile long mountain pass is between 25 and 60 mph. Which means that it`s a road where only a real drift-maestro can successfully perform here. And Mad Mike is the man for it, who hits it with an incredible 154 mph!

It starts with an old man who`s driving his old and rusty pickup truck, and gives a ride to our hero, who`s sitting behind, in the truck`s bed. The old man takes Mike to the place where his 800+ HP 2004 Mazda RX-8 Quad-Rotor drift car, is located, gives him an advice and a tape with music. Mike goes to his ride, puts the tape in, and the action starts.

So now, after we`d given you the basic info about it, you can check out the video, and enjoy its thrilling content! And if you want to learn something more about Mad Mike Whiddett`s jaw-dropping and ultra-powerful 2004 Mazda RX-8, aka Badbull, click here.
