Check out this amazing video with Lewis Hamilton‘s Mercedes Formula 1 Car at The Goodwood Festival Of Speed this year. Actually the World Endurance Champion, Anthony Davidson was the driver in this superfast beast. This silver Formula 1 car with a V8 engine was screaming up at Goodwood hill-climb and remembered all of us how a F1 car should sound like. That was Frightening! Please bring back this sound!
As you can see on the video below, the second run is ~42 seconds and that is very close to a track record. However, the non-slick tires probably did not allow to go faster. Maybe they decided to put rain tires because its a very short run and the “wets” tires need lower temperature to be at their best grip. I would like to make this Formula 1 car street legal to drive it around! 🙂
