However, this year Ford will try to get the crown in the GTE Pro class competition. This is actually the highest category for production-based race cars and the already known rivals are the astonishing models of Aston Martin, Chevrolet, Porsche and Ferrari.
Moreover, Ford will try to win gold in the full World Endurance Championship. Now is up for the company to repeat the history by ending the dominance of the Italian beast Ferrari. If you recall, in 1966 Ford`s glory was sealed with the incredible success of the GT40s that were placed first second and third in the running!
