However, it appears that Komatsu are the first when it comes to the biggest bulldozer in the world with their Komatsu D575A dozer! This is no ordinary digging machine, with a blade as a three-car garage, this is the sumo champion of all bulldozers. It`s a lot more than those small dozers you see in construction sites. It`s actually 10 times the size. With a 1150HP turbocharged engine, this brute can actually push its own weight. That`s about 350 thousand pounds with each shove of the blade.
This machine isn`t just about productivity, it`s also about comfort. After all, the Komatsu goes over some pretty bumpy terrain. To decrease vibration, rubber shock absorbers are added. That gives the Komatsu D575A dozer better traction. Comfort is definitely guaranteed with Komatsu, but what about handling big objects in its way? To test this, they decided to put a 4-WD Ford pick-up truck in its way. You can guess what happened to the truck.
