The details surrounding this auction and the way they organize it is downright insane. It`s a huge flawless organization that we haven`t seen anything like it. You got an immense choice of cars and before bidding for a vehicle, you can inspect every car you are interested in. Once you have found the car of your choice, you go into an immense auction hall where hundreds of people are also taking part. In this hall you are given a computer that enables you to bid on all of the vehicles you like.
At a regular Japanese vehicle auction, up to 12 vehicles are sold and purchased at a time. Instead of alphabetical order, all of the cars are sorted and organized by colors. We think this is a very interesting way to sort cars by. Vehicles only appear for mere seconds which means that bidding goes super-fast. Once you win the car of your desires, you are immediately given the keys. However, if the vehicle needs to be exported, this is when the real work starts.
