Imagine what a trip it would be if a US citizen would be able to drive all the way to Russia and finish their voyage in London, UK?! Well, from now on, this is not just a fantasy and wild thinking, but a real proposal from Russia, to connect the world`s largest country with USA by a superhighway London to New York bridge, which would be only one part from that massive superhighway that will stretch from Europe and Asia, all the way to North America.
The name of this gigantic project is a Trans-Eurasian Belt Development (TEPR), and even though this is not the very first time this idea is mentioned, this time it was the Russian Railways head Vladimir Yakunin who brought it up to the table. According to his ambitious plan, this super-route will include certain pre-existing roads to London and New York, but still, the most challenging part will be the building of thousands of miles of roads through the width of the wild Russian nature, alongside the existing and well known Trans-Siberian Railway.
