We normally share videos and information about machines. Cars, trucks, airplanes, tractors, RC vehicles, you name it! However, every now and then we like to drift off a bit and share a video that is unusual for this website. Even though the thing you are about to see in this video has wheels, it is not a machine. Today, we decided to share video of Blade the turtle! If you are wondering why a small animal would capture our attention, we will gladly elaborate.
Blade the turtle is just a turtle like most others. However, his illness weakened his muscles and made him unable to stand on his legs, hence not able to move. Luckily for Blade, the vet that took care of him came up with a genius idea! He managed to build a turtle wheelchair so Blade can move around freely! We were left speechless at the brilliance of this vet, and we admire his ingenuity.
The turtle wheelchair is made of Lego bricks that have 4 wheels attached to them. The bricks are glued to Blade`s shell and act as his wheelchair! In the video you will see how Blade easily moves around thanks to the wheels that are glued underneath him. Even though Blade is on wheels, he can still touch the ground with his feet. It warms our heart to see this little turtle getting a second chance. For many animals, losing the ability to move means the end.
However, Blade the turtle was lucky to have the genius vet that found a solution for his disability! We have never seen a turtle wheelchair before, but knowing now that it exists, we hope to see it on the market one day! As for the vet, he deserves nothing but admiration! Good job sir, you are a genius and most of all, an incredible human being.
