I`m very well aware that when you think about an American muscle car, the 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air is not the first image that comes to your mind. Probably not even if you are deliberately talking about the vintage Detroit muscles. But the fact of the matter is that this classic muscle beauty is one of those rides that could be described as one of the most important pioneers that started the whole thing, and to whom we have to thank for all the other beasts that followed, like the Chevy Camaro, Dodge Charger, and many others!
But now, let`s concentrate on this jaw-dropping specimen. I`m sure that some of you are familiar with the Ironworks -- Speed and Kustom, who are behind this 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air example, and maybe had seen some of their other projects. But regardless of that, I`d give myself a liberty to say that this vintage Detroit muscle is one of their best works.
The entire car (inside-out) has been restored and reworked, including the motor, which is why the car looks like it has never ever been used. It was one of those muscle rides on the 2015 SEMA that was drawing attention and everyone wanted to see it up close and personal, as much as it was possible!
But you better have a look at the footage below and see this jaw-dropping vintage beauty yourself, and see what I`m trying to tell you! And if you want to see other interesting muscle beasts from the SEMA, click here.
