Hyundai Motor officially unveiled the face-lift version of Elantra in the domestic market. The fastest growing automobile producer has brought back the Elantra in order to strengthen its presence in one of the most competitive segments in the world today. The redesigned Hyundai Elantra facelift model has even more features and refreshed design.
The Elantra (known as Avante in Korea) has an 4,550 mm overall length, 20 mm longer than previous model) and the same dimension of wheelbase . The new Elantra projects a more dynamic, modern, balanced and stable look with its newly designed front and rear bumper, fog lamps, radiator grille, LED headlights and the new 17″ alloy wheels.
Interior design elements are modified in order to reach a better functionality and usability, the center armrest and air vents position was raised and the ventilation seats and OLED display were adopted.
The face-lifted model comes equipped with flex steering and SPAS (Smart Parking Assist System). This is yet another addition to the awesome and brand new equipment that this amazing car has!
The diesel version of 1.6L engine was added in order to reach the customers on the Korean and latter on the European market. With the fuel economy of 18.5 km/l with manual transmission and 16.2 km/l with automatic, 128 ps and torque of 28.5 kg/m this model is one of the best in the class. Moreover, the ISG system (Idle Stop & Go) is integrated on the diesel model with A/T. However, the features and specifications may vary in different regions.
The model Hyundai Elantra facelift has global sales of more than 8.77 million units since it was officially launched for the first time. The famous model has won a series of accolades and awards, including the most prestigious the 2012 North American Car of the Year.
