Accidents are prior to happening when it comes to modifying or completely swapping massive engines into our cars. Though we often tend to take care and protect our cars as much as we can, sometimes there is nothing we can do about it. This fairly often happens when we try and push our cars to the limit and try to get as much as we can from it. Hereby we take a look at the following video in which such mighty Holden V8 engine goes up in flames and is completely busted. This mighty wagon was owned by Andrew Darby and he was running multiple 7 seconds runs with his Holden V8 engine.
The mighty red wagon produced staggering 12000+ HP, something that we do not see often. But it seemed that the factory Holden 2bolt block could not withstand the power and energy this Holden V8 produced and so after hours and hours of fun and competition at the track, it went up in flames. Andrew was doing revs with his car and preparing himself for the next race, but as he took off we heard loud noise and hence it was night, we could have clearly see the flames going under the car.
The car also had Garrett GT55 turbo charger which looked awesome. You also get to see how the car looked under the hood before and after the blow. What do you think, should have he pushed the car to the limit this much?
