I`m sure that if someone tells you something about the German popular hatchback, the Volkswagen Golf R, besides coming across to the idea of the legendary Rabbit, you would not think much of it, right? Especially if you put it in the same context with one of the best and most attractive supercars out there, the Italian Lamborghini Huracán! I know I would not.
However, thanks to the German tuning house HGP, and the Russian drag race enthusiasts, here we have one mean and fast as hell VW Golf R model, powered by a 3.6 liter motor by a VW Passat, and Twin Turbo by Audi RS3! And now, this little VW Golf R can hit from 0 to 60 in only 3.5 seconds, and it takes it only 5.5 seconds to reach 120 mph!
Thus, these Russian drag race enthusiasts put it up for a drag face-off with the Lamborghini Huracán! And, in the same style, when it previously embarrassed the Nissan GTR and a Ferrari (according to the video host), it punished the Huracán, leaving it way behind in the rearview mirror!
