I believe that most of you will agree with me if I say that one does not have to be deep into the hot rods and rat rods, in order to like and admire this sometimes funny, other times even terrifying looking monsters on four wheels. And what else can a Gearhead do, when you know that someone has been through a lot of trouble, put a great deal of effort into it, in order to start only with a good vision and (usually) pieces of junk, and to end up with a ride that makes heads turn. This Cummins Rat Rod packing a diesel engine is the real proof!
I mean, I know that for a hardcore supercar fan, rat rods are probably not the second best choice. But for those of us who love muscle cars, rat rods had always been an interesting expression of a custom built machine that is boosting a lot of power. That is why we see great specimens each year at car shows like SEMA.
And that is also the reason why I think that this rat rod specimen that you are going to see in the following video, will be quite interesting for many of you. Packing a powerful turbocharged Cummins diesel motor, big rear rims, and an appealing paint job, for me, this is a creation that cannot leave any Gearhead indifferent. But maybe I`m wrong?!
