Just after several months on sale, the Gogoro Smartscooter was launched in August 2015, there have been around 4000 units sold in Taiwan. Also, there are approximately 140 battery swap stations in the capital and other major metropolises. In addition, every battery bank can store from 8 to 16 batteries and there is room for two such battery banks under the seat.
Furthermore, Gogoro Smartscooter has a top speed of 59 miles per hour and can go from 0 to 31 mph in 4.2 seconds. This performance is available thanks to the Liquid Cooled G1 Motor, which also delivers 8.58 horsepower.
