Here is one video that will refresh some memories. Especially for those who are fans of the music from the 60`s and the 70`s. Those were the times when countless number of popular bands and solo artists were creating songs that are still popular and present the base for the modern music we know today. Without a doubt, one such artist is definitely Janis Joplin. Despite the fact that she passed away at an early age (27), inarguably she is “the greatest white urban blues and soul singer of her generation”. Just like us, she also wanted a car to drive, not to be driven. When she moved to California, her choice was a 1965 Porsche 356C Cabriolet!
This 1965 PORSCHE 356C Cabriolet is currently displayed at the “Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame And Museum” in Cleveland, Ohio. The singer purchased her oyster white vehicle for around $35,000. Nonetheless, she wanted to change the look into something closer to her. With the help of some friends, the car acquired the looks as you can see it. One time when she was at a gig, the car was stolen and spray painted. It was quickly found and recovered as well. After her death, Joplin`s family gave the car to her manager who returned the automobile back 3 years later.
