With years passing by, car technology keeps improving. If you said to somebody 50 years ago that cars will have 1000hp engines, they would think you are crazy! However, nowadays that is not a possibility, but reality! Today we take a look at one phenomenal project, an electric supercar named Nio EP9. While electric supercars are not exactly the newest thing, an electric racecar that is completely autonomous is! This is exactly what Nio EP9 is going to be! On this track, the Nio EP9 posted a time of 07:05.120, which is a new world record! It really shouldn`t be that surprising, because when you hear the specs on this electric racecar, your jaw will hit the floor. Its top speed is a whopping 194 miles per hour and it is developed for track racing. Carbon fiber is the material out of which the chassis is made, which makes this vehicle very light.
