If you are one of those thinking that a Beetle is an innocent looking car with innocent skills, then you have another thing coming. This guy transformed his 1959 VW Beetle from a cute car into a real trouble maker!
He put in a lot of thought and hard work in order to succeed and now he is giving it a go. He integrated 2165cc 4-cylinders flat engine, and amplified it with a turbocharger. It also has CB Performance ECU and water-air intercooler, making it an absolute monster you can drive safely. It is a far cry from the regular Beetle which is often undervalued and unappreciated.
That certainly is what was going through this guy`s mind when he decided to take on this incredible challenge. He wanted to create a car which will scare away all the modern powerful vehicles, while also retaining that old school look.
He certainly succeeded in achieving just that. As it is apparent in the test drive, this car has power now. With its 300 horses, it is no longer a laughing stock on the streets, but a powerhouse to fear. Kudos to the guy for not turning it upside down and still creating a powerful old school car!
