This means that the cylinders in the engine are wide and shallow, so the piston doesn`t move too much per cycle.
Furthermore, the Formula engine uses a dry sump oil system, which greatly increases the performance of the Formula car. This system doesn`t allow oil to slush around in the tank and it can be placed wherever you want, lowering the engine.
