“Wanna be cool – stay in school” is the message written on the side of this hot rod. Except it isn`t a hot rod, but a Ford school bus, just as yellow as the rest of them. It has a 6.6L 403 Oldsmobile engine with a huge blower protruding through the hood. However, its body is made of a Cadillac Eldorado frame and a customized 1949 school bus made by Ford. This vehicle was built by Jerry Bowers because he loves to spread the message of progress and positivity with the world, and who can blame him! After all, if you decide to build this thing, you`ve got a very positive outlook on life, right?
When it came to building it, the guys were sitting around the campfire at a car show and they had an idea about chopping up a Ford school bus. So, they bought the bus, shortened it by about seven feet, lowered it a few feet more and brought the ceiling down as well. This meant that the bus would look smaller, but sleeker! They also created a driver`s door and spoiler completely from scratch and they fit the entire concept really well! Go check it out!
