When we pictured the future back in the day, we thought it was going to be a utopia with robots and flying cars. Until now, that has only partially been realized but now the latter is coming true – this company developed a flying, multirotor car that can probably both drive and fly. In this video, only the flying part is demonstrated but it is suggested that wheels can be added. In practice, this is just a really small, really cool two seat airplane. The developers, a company called LILIUM from Munich think this car could revolutionize both air and land travel.
The vehicle has a range of 186 miles and a top speed of 186 mph as well. It has multirotor car systems on all four wings and also its hull which can be pointed to move in any direction except backwards. It`s made of ultralight materials which help it conserve power and fly faster and further. It`s obvious that this is the future – it may not be in the following 20 years, but soon enough we will all be driving these instead of normal cars. It`s the Jetsons` all over again, and we`re excited to see what this car has to offer!
