Our first thought after watching this Freightliner FLD 112 video was how do people think of stuff like this? They don`t have anything else to do rather than precisely placing two piles of dirt in the middle of the street, where there are houses and people spectating on both sides? No matter how entertaining this looks, first and foremost it is dangerous! Despite the fact that nobody was hurt, and nothing was severely damaged, safety is always first! We are not criticizing, just expressing our point of view. Anyway, let`s focus a little bit more on this video`s introduction.
It is a rather short footage, and it all ends quite fast, but there is a lot to be seen and considered later. So, there are two huge piles of dirt in the middle of the street acting like ascending and descending ramps for the speeding truck! As you may predict, the truck is previously accelerating and then sounds the horn before the actual jump. This is where the crowd is excited. Then, the Freightliner FLD 112 jump occurs and after the decent landing the people go nuts! We have to say we have seen better but also worse landings than this. Nevertheless, somebody will have to take care of the stains left on the road.
