The Rally Islas Canarias season opener was marked by a Russian Ford duo win in the 2016 FIA ERC championship! Alexey Lukyanuk and his co-driver Alexey Arnautovhad theur second straight victory after the win in the final round of the 2015 FIA ERC season in Switzerland! The defending champion, Kajetan Kajetanowicz was too weak to stop the ongoing Ford Fiesta R5 driven by Lukyanuk!
Kajetanowicz, however, finished second in the Islas Canarias opener leading Monzon who was behind the wheel of a Citroen DS3 R5! The second stop for ERC drivers is the Circuit of Ireland that will take place from the 7th to 9th of April! Check out the gallery below to see more pics from this race!
