Today, the man whom every young lad admires is Dan Bilzerian, but back in the day his name was Porfirio Rubiosa. The Dominican racing car driver was one of the most popular celebrities, especially in the women`s world, as he used to hang out with the some of the Hollywood most beautiful icons such as Merlyn Monroe, Rita Hayworth, Kim Novak, etc. What a ladies` man right? However, his first love was not even close to that beauty crew, yet Rubiosa was bonded with his one and only 1954 500 Mondial Spyder!
This vintage Ferrari racer which was apparently used by Rubiosa only during the international race at Santa Barbara in 1954, was sent for a full restoration by its current owner. Now, the car has all the features to get back on track and its first appearance will be this August in the Concours D`Elegance Competition in California.
