The Ferrari F1 team had a testing of the new Formula 1 HALO cockpit before at the preseason testing which is underway in Spain. Thus, Ferrari F1 team became the first team to publicly do such thing. The Halo cockpit is greatly built as it protects the driver from flying in case of a crash!
The Ferrari drivers are pretty protected in this case! The visibility of the driver is not affected as the strut is well positioned. Also, Kimi Raikkonen set the fastest time in the preseason with 1 m. 22.765s! The new Pirelli ultra-soft tires played a great role in this one!
