When TheRidersChannel went there to cover an event that goes by the name of “Horsepower Wars“, they stumbled upon something magnificent by Racer Engineering. It`s an unreasonably fast sand rail. It`s literally the fastest sand car and is delivering staggering 1600HP! That`s actually more than all known hypercars!
You can`t really compare these two machines, but still. TheRidersChannel says that this monstrous machine is powered by a twin-turbo Chevy small block fitted behind the passenger`s side. It has nothing to propel except a chromoly cage, few fat tires and an aluminum chassis. You can also notice BJ Balwdin in the video who is an off-road racing legend. He later dubbed this machine the fastest thing he has ever experienced! This fastest sand car is now put up for sale at a price of $170,000. This is definitely a lot of money. However, it`s a bargain if you are into dollars-to-horsepower ratio!
