Is there a better way to make an ultimate comparison of the two probably best supercars from the two continents, when we are talking about the North America and Europe, than with a drag battle between certain models of the Corvette and Lamborghini?! Two extra appealing and attractive sports cars that are coming from two pretty much different engineering philosophies, the pride of the American supercar production, Chevy Corvette, and the Italian luxury sports cars, the one and only Lamborghini. More precisely, we have the 2012 Lamborghini LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale vs the 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06!
Of course, it would have been better if it was done properly, on the drag strip, with a professional drivers, not on an open road (where it is extremely dangerous, and the conditions are far from being perfect), but watching these two awesome cars in a drag battle should be enough, I guess.
So, we have the latest model of 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06, powered by the supercharged 6.2 liter V8 motor that gives an output of about 505 HP, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. And its opponent, one of the fastest and most attractive V10 models of Lamborghini, the Super Trofeo Stradale, powered by the V10 motor that generates 570 HP and about 400 pound feet of torque.
