Not Use Racing Slicks On A Wet Highway 3

This video will show you why you should never use racing slicks when it rains…

Rob Dahm was driving back from the runway after he set a record and he knew that his car wasn`t supposed to be out in the rain due to the racing slicks he put on it. However, it was sunny and while there were clouds, there was no sign of rain anywhere. Now, this isn`t no ordinary guy – his car set a record at 177 MPH just before this happened, so you know it`s an awesome machine. Well, it`s awesome and now it has had its front bumper busted because of the sudden rain that started drizzling right after these guys left the runway!

Of course, when you want to set a record you use everything that will go to your advantage and that`s exactly what Mr. Dahm did. One of the biggest things that helped his RX7 were the racing slicks he put on his car, which were perfect for a dry runway.

However, when he started to drive back home, there was some rain and as soon as that rubber came in contact with wet concrete, he realized how non-existent the grip on these things was as he spun out of control and hit the railing with his front bumper. Tough luck, but it`s a lesson for next time!
