First of all we take a look at how a huge steel ring is made. A big chunk of steel is placed onto the machine which then compresses it down and punches a hole in the middle. The piece is then reheated yet once again and it is placed onto yet another machine that expands it, while at the same time maintaining the perfect circular shape. Next, we take a look at how an open-die forging process looks like.

The big red glowing piece of steel is placed onto a pressing machine and a worked manually marks it, by using another piece of steel. Another machine later on continues to do the rest of the job, until the final product is completed and it passes the various tests they have.
