The year of 2017 was a terrible one for many famous people hence it has happened so that many lost their lives or peacefully passed away. To many this was extremely strange, but all we can say is that we will remember this year as one of the saddest so far. To prove this statement furthermore, we announce that one of our favorite pop idols from the 70s, David Cassidy, has sadly passed away aged 67. It was an utterly devastating moment for his family members and for everyone who loved and respected his work.
At least, as some of his closest ones said, David Cassidy passed away while being close to them, close to the ones that loved him and with a joy in his heart, due to multiple organ failure. David Cassidy grew up with a father who was singer and an actor and with a mother who was also an actress. In a way, he was predestined to follow their path. And so it happened.
Back in the 70s he played a role in the popular sitcom The Partridge Family, which is where he gained popularity and became a star that we all loved. If you are not familiar with the sitcom, it was basically a story about a mom and her five children who later on formed a famous rock and roll band.
In his peak period, David Cassidy, was even more popular than The Beatles and Elvis Presley. What an amazing man he was!
