“Tune It! Safe!” is a German organization that advocates safe and legal aftermarket vehicle tuning in Germany. This organization has a pretty original idea of how to actually promote legal and safe aftermarket tuning – by tweaking performance cars with Polizei themes. For this year`s event, “Tune It! Safe!” chose the Chevrolet Police Corvette, which is displayed at the Essen Motor Show.
The honor to tune the American muscle was given to Tikt Performance, which did mostly exterior modifications. For instance, complete carbon fiber body kit that includes front lip, rear spoiler, side sills. There are also 19″ (front) and 20″ (rear) forged wheels covered with Ventus S1 Evo tires by Hankook. Performance-wise, the German tuner didn`t touch the 6.2 liter V8 engine which is able to produce 460 horsepower as well as 465 lb-ft of torque.
