What we have here is one of the most unusual ways to start a crop duster airplane ever! This video also goes to show that some people are so creative with how they approach things that it seems like they solve any problem thrown at them. The creative way of starting a plane`s engine in this video is consisted of a car and a rope. This guy simply attaches a rope on the rotor that goes to the front of the truck. Then the guy in the truck just hits the throttle and goes reverse. As you`ll see the plane`s engine is started and ready for takeoff.
Now, we don`t know how safe this method is, however, it sure is a neat thing to start a plane`s engine going. We guess many things can go awry here with starting a small plane engine like this. Besides, you can`t restart an engine like this when in the air.
So, judging by the video, this engine may not be in a very healthy condition. If it malfunctions in the air, you can`t just point the nose down and let airflow do its thing, right? Then again, we are not aviation experts, so maybe this guy perfectly knows what he is doing by starting his crop duster airplane this way. It also looks like this guy is perfectly confident and has complete faith that his engine won`t fail while in air. Whatever the case may be, now this farmer has his plane ready for some crop dusting.
