Winter has come, and with winter also comes snow. If you live in any state that has a massive amount of snow falling each year (Alaska anyone?), you might have a snowmobile! They are machines specifically designed to drive on snow. Most of you know how a regular snowmobile looks like, but today we are sharing a video showing the craziest snowmobiles ever invented!
The first crazy snowmobile on this list is the Antarctic snow cruiser. This snowmobile was made in 1939 and it was intended to be used for exploring the Antarctic. However, it was not as good as they thought it would be because the tires sunk deeply in the snow.
Second on this list is the crazy snowmobile named CIV, which stands for Concept Ice Vehicle. It was originally developed for an Antarctic expedition and it was reengineered to the BIV. This model helped the expedition cross the Antarctic continent! They managed to cross it after 20 and half days! Third on this list is the Snow Crawler. This futuristic looking snowmobile has an electrical drive that enables it to overcome steep slopes. It would be perfect for conquering mountains!
