We have definitely seen many insane VW bugs in our time. However, this one is definitely competing for the very top in our list. On the surface, it looks just like your typical old school VW beetle, except with a neat matte paint job and clad in chrome. Nevertheless, underneath, is a totally different world and definitely not a traditional VW. Instead, you have an insane autocross machine that will leave everyone in awe. The tube chassis beetle has a very slick flip top and it`s powered by a 327 Chevy engine. However, what`s best about this car is that it`s completely street driven.
The You Tube Channel, Urban Hillbilly Videos, who has over 160.000 subscribers on YouTube were the ones to discover this marvelous flip top beetle that`s powered by a 327 Chevy engine. Unfortunately, they didn`t get enough footage of this car in action. Nevertheless, they managed to get an interview with the owner of this car and discover a bit more about this awesome build. A very cool part is that we get to see the drivetrain which looks amazing. This also looks like the perfect sleeper, nobody will expect what lurks inside this funny bug!
