CNC Manufacturing Process Of An Engine Head!

The technology is more advanced than it has ever been before and new and better ways of production have been developed. The mass production of vehicles requires mass production of all the parts required to build the car as well. This means that the manufacturers have to come up with better methods than its rivals. Hereby in this video we take a look at an ingenious process to manufacture an engine head. There are couples of things that are going on at the same time. First of all, there is the CNC machine that is used to grind of chunks from the engine head.

Then, there is a rotating tool to which the head is attached and moves in various directions to position itself for drilling. This is simultaneously done and the machine does the job without any mistake. Though the video is fairly short with just couple of minutes long and we do not see the in-depth build, this is surely a nice sneak peek into how this system works. The drill is super sharp and it rotates at high speed thus it cuts out the engine head with ease.

There is no oiling as you would expect to find while working with metal hence this piece of aluminium is fairly soft and easy to work with.
