This looks like a fairly efficient way to get clear headlights as fast as possible for your car! I`m not sure what exactly is going on in this video, but the guy applies some chemical to the outer side of the headlights and they instantly get clear!
Some of the comments seem to suggest that this is just a temporary solution and that it`s much better to clean your headlights any of the old fashion ways instead of doing this, but this technique sure seems effective to me even if it`s for a short while! The principle that this contraption works on is apparently very simple! The clear headlights were coated with some wax!
Then the mechanic had put some steaming hot water in a cup and an upside down watering cap at the top, so the steam comes out of a very tight tube instead of going all over the place. The hot steam melts the wax and the headlights appear as clear as the day they were made. Impressive, right?
If only it was more permanent and we wouldn`t have to get this done every once in a while. However, until we reach that level of technology, the old techniques will still be the best!
