We all have a favorite car guy TV host. We used to spend hours and hours in front of the television watching that show over the years, and to some us, this is how we fell in love with the beauty on four wheels. One such show was surely Overhaulin TV Show. All of us know that their main designer was none other than Chip Foose, and in this video we take a look at everything you need to know about him and the time he spent working with the guys from Velocity reality series. He was born in Santa Barbara, California on October 13, 1963.
Even at the tender age of just 7, Chip Foose began working on cars at his father`s company by the name of Project Design. He attended Art Center College of Design in 1982. This is where things got a bit complicated for this young talented guy. He dropped out of college just two years after due to financial difficulties, but eventually, 8 years later he graduated at the same college.
Back in the 90s, he began working for Stehrenberger Design and Ford Motors, which is where he gained tons of experience in the world of designing. Later on he became president of Boyd Coddington`s company by the name of Hot Rod by Boyd. This is where he designed the very famous Boydster I and II, which helped him become the youngest person to be Hot Rod Hall of Fame inductee in 1997.
