We stumbled upon one horrific sight of a Chevrolet graveyard nestled in a Junkyard in Shady Spring, West Virginia. Up to 28 vintage Chevrolet cars are found rusting and suffering the element`s wrath. Now, as gearheads. we find it very hard to behold this cruelty. However, we must raise awareness and share these nasty images with you guys.
In these 28 abandoned vintage Chevy cars you can see a 1955 Chevy Bel Air. This great 55 Chevy is a true hot rod. It is fitted with a 396 big block engine that delivers astonishing 375HP. It also has a 4 barrel Holley carburetor. This 1955 Chevy Bel Air was restored by some guy in the late 1980`s.

However, it was driven for less than 500 miles before being parked here to rot for many decades to come. In this junkyard, there was also another Bel Air from 1957 that features the gold trim. Other cars found in this horrific Chevrolet graveyard is a 1970 Chevy fitted with Cragar wheels. Another car that can be found suffering nature`s fury is a classic Chevy fitted with an L-88 427 engine.
This old school big-block delivers more horses than you might expect. Elsewhere, there is a 1955 Chevy dirtrack car powered by a z28 302 engine with a Cross-Ram manifold. Other vintage Chevy cars that can be found here are Impalas that date from 1959-1963. There are at least 2 of each. We just hate it when people let cars to sit and rot like this!
