Just as I have said numerous times before, there are great classic Detroit muscles, and there are the ones that make you feel your neck skin crawl from the very moment you lay your eyes on them. And of course, I know that there are many fans of the legendary Dodge Charger amongst you, which is why I believe that you are all going to enjoy the following video of this ultra-powerful and jaw-dropping 1969 Dodge Super Charger!
Along with a few other (mainly) `68 Dodge Charger examples that I have seen throughout the years, which were highly customized and transformed to a point that makes them appear like they had come from outer space, this specimen of the 1969 Dodge Charger (rightfully called 1969 Dodge Super Charger), is one of the most impressive classic Chargers I have seen! Just the way I like it 😉
Under the hood there`s the massive and powerful 572 cubic inch big block, mated to a supercharger and a blower, which understandably, is visibly popping out of the hood. Unfortunately, we do not know the exact info about the amount of horse and torque the monster under (and above) the hood is generating, but there`s no doubt that it is a lot!
Those of you who are more into the mechanics, probably know that the advantage of this type of supercharger (which is updated with numerous temporary state of the art gadgets and modern technology) over the turbo is that even at a low rpm, it produces more power. And of course, that is great for the ones who love massive horse and torque power, blasting out of their ride!
The name of the video says Ken Block`s `69 Dodge Super Charger, and we`ll be perfectly honest with you and tell you that we do not know much about it, (whether it belongs to the famous drifter or not, but who else would be?), so we won`t speculate on this subject, but will leave you to enjoy the following three minutes in the appearance and the chilling sound of this wonderful machine!
