Hereby, what you are about to see in the following video is something you are definitely going to like, especially if you are new here, hence we take a close look at a detailed tutorial on how the car exhaust system works. There are couple of things that are going on, but first of all let use introduce you to the basic parts of it.
Attached to the engine is the exhaust manifold and then follow the catalytic converter, resonator, muffler and finally through the long pipe the gas exits the system. It all begins inside the engine at the same moment the car is started up. Hot exhaust gas together with the sound waves generated at the end of the exhaust stroke are sent to the exhaust manifold through the valve.
Then this hot gas, which is actually harmful to the environment, enters the catalytic converter. Inside the converter there are two ceramic blocks that are made from Platinum, Rhodium and Palladium. They react with the hot toxic gas that enters and transform it to Oxygen and Nitrogen.
