There are a lot of great things people had invented over the years. These inventions made our lives much easier and much less stressful. But besides all of these pretty handy inventions, there are some that do not have any purpose at all and people made them just for fun. One such thing is surely the musical road located in California that in fact, sounds awful. This concept of a California road that plays music has been around for quite awhile now but no one had actually made one until this company decided that it was time to show off its qualities.
Hereby, in the middle of this desert road they decided to make this concept a reality. The only thing that is wrong about this is that it sounds absolutely awful. We were supposed to listen to Rossini`s William Tell Overture but instead we got something disturbing, a music that you can find in horror movies. So what happened here, what went wrong and what make this musical road sounds so bad?
Even though not many could understand the reason why did this happen, one scientist managed to do so. One major miscalculation led to this awful sound that is very different that it was supposed to be. They placed the bumps 4 inches apart, but they did not calculate the width of the bumps themselves, and this is where things gone wrong.
Even though this cannot be seen, our ears could definitely hear it. What do you think; would you want to drive on this California road that plays music?
