NHRA Stock and Super Stock categories will have another new, yet serious competitor. The $99,990 Mustang Cobra Jet is ready the competition! Nevertheless, according to the manufacturer, nearly ¾ of the elements featured in the 5.0 liter V8 motor that powers the Mustang GT are the same.
However, this Mustang Cobra Jet has been significantly modified, and one of the modifications is the supercharger made by Whipple. In addition, this vehicle has coilover shock absorbers specific for drag racing, racing brakes and of course roll cage inside. Also, the engine is cooled down by an electric water pump which is the same that cools the Ford C-Max hybrid!
