These two bike dragsters Maurice Allen and Ryan Learmonth were forced to replace horsepower with leg power. And in a drag race such as this one, where the race is over in mere seconds, that was not the case. The case was a pure Flinstone race because both their bikes just failed simultaneously. Not even you who are into crazy bets weren`t expecting that eh? Well, yeah, the impossible happened. And just look at the result in this video, to say the least is just hilarious.
The 400 Thunder bike race is a very competitive bike drag race where the bike dragsters literally fly flat out across the dragstrip with their powerful bikes. And in this edition of Thunder 400 we have the worst bike drag race ever. Just like in the movie Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby where the main protagonist played by Will Ferrel collides with the antagonist of the movie Girard, played by Sacha Baron Cohen end up colliding with each other just before the finish line and determined not to give up! They both sprint on foot towards the finish line. In this video we have a somewhat similar situation where both bike dragsters Maurice Allen and Ryan Learmonth are pushing their bikes on foot to the finish line.
Both of these bike dragsters` bikes engines failed just yards after the starting line. But their motivation to win the race is incredible, even when the main asset of their job, namely their bikes, are dead as a doornail.
Maurice Allen, the rider with the red leather outfit managed to pass more yards than his bike dragster opponent Ryan Learmonth at the start but at the middle Allen`s bike engine dies. After his engine dies, it appears that he is calling it quits until he notices that Learmonth is pushing his dead bike to the finish line.
The gap between the two bike dragsters at this point looks like 122 feet or so, but Ryan Learmonth, who is way behind is motivated and determined as ever to try and lesser the gap to Maurice Allen and even pass him.
But Allen`s gap proved to be just too much for Learmonth to recover and Maurice Allen managed to win the race in this Flinstone extravaganza!
